6. MP4/4 (1988)
The MP4/4 was not just the most dominant McLaren of all time, it was the most dominant F1 car, full stop. It won 15 of 1988’s 16 races, and gave Ayrton Senna his first world title. It also marked the start of four consecutive world titles for McLaren, from 1988 to 1991.
