5. MP4/2 (1984)
The car that carried Niki Lauda to his third world title, the MP4/2 scored 12 wins from 16 races with Alain Prost’s help. Updated versions of the John Barnard-designed machine went on to win constructors’ titles in 1985 and driver’s titles for Prost in 1985 and 1986.
