10. DS E-Tense
[Not a valid template]DS is a branch of French manufacturer Citroen, and has been trying to establish itself as a standalone luxury marque in recent years. Its latest offering is this electric GT, the E-Tense. With a 0-100kph time of 4.5 seconds and a claimed range of 320km, it’s certainly built for performance, even if it weighs a hefty 1800kg. Still, it looks pretty cool and has certainly got tongues wagging, which is the main aim of the car. DS say it’s an exercise to demonstrate its aim to move away from Citroen somewhat as it seeks to establish its own, more upmarket identity. An Audi R8-like electric sports car is certainly one way to do that.
