Duel Motorsport // Early 911 // Spa Six Hours Qualifying

Early 911's had what can only be described as a quirky way of going around corners fast. I remember seeing a clip of DUEL Motorsport car a few years ago and was knocked sideways by the deft skill the driver of the car had in keeping the 911 pointing the right way...especially given the speed he was pressing on at. Now thanks to C+P reader and good buddy Alexandros Annivas we bring you a hot lap from the 2009 Spa Six Hours. I am more than confident that you will appreciate the skills in making a Short Wheel Base Early 911 go fast....

DUEL was founded in 1993 with their core business being building and maintaining formula cars and their engines. However it soon became clear that the older generation Porsche was a car that could really be developed...and so it became, that Early 911 Race prep took over their business and the rest as they say is history. DUEL has, as you can imagine forged themselves a bit of a reputation over the past few years and now compete and win across many disciplines from road to rally to track in their 911's.

Enjoy, Phil

Blanchimont

That is an awesome bit of car control. I can't believe how sideways he gets through Blanchimont at the end of the lap. Anyone who has driven Spa knows how fast that corner is. Much respect
