Chinese brand Icona chose this weekend’s Pebble Beach Concours to debut its ‘new’ hypercar, the Vulcano.

Originally introduced at the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show, two monstrous engine variants were proposed: a rear-wheel drive 937bhp petrol V12 and single electric motor, or a twin-turbo V6 coupled with twin electric motors, producing 858bhp. The model debuting this year will come with the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 supercharged V8 engine, which boasts a respectable 670bhp, a 0-100kph of 2.8seconds, while maxing out at 220mph, if speculation is to be believed.

The new hypercar also has a carbon-fibre chassis, while the body panels are largely made up of titanium, as the below teaser video explains. Few other technical details have been unveiled though, aside from these pretty sharp looking launch images. Some of our more dedicated fans may even notice the work of Piotr Degler Jablonski in there…
