The hand-built American supercar is the fastest street-legal Viper track car ever powered by an all-aluminium 645hp 8.4-litre, mid-front V10 overhead-valve engine, featuring a lightweight composite intake manifold, high-strength forged pistons, sodium-filled exhaust valves, exhaust system catalysts to ease backpressure and an aluminum flywheel to reduce reciprocating losses. It’s mated to a manual transmission featuring close gear ratios and produces 600lb ft of torque, with a top speed of 331kph.
There are six standard air extractors on the Viper SRT and ACR models (available on GTC) or two standard air extractors on the GT, GTC, and GTS models remove heat from the SRT-engineered V10 engine.
The new Viper features a stiffer structure that provides 50% more torsional rigidity than the previous generation model, alongside 50/50 weight distribution.
Inside, the SRT model gets Ballistic 2 Premium high grip seats. The GT model gets Nappa leather with alcantara inserts and is available with full Nappa leather seats, while the GTS gets Nappa leather-wrapped surfaces surround the cabin, Laguna leather seats and an Alcantara headliner as standard. The GTC adds fully wrapped premium Laguna leather interior.
Standard on the Viper ACR and optional on the GTC are high-grip Alcantara leather seats in black with either Header Red or silver accent stitching, Alcantara wrapped steering wheel, ACR badge, Alcantara door trim panels with laser etched race-flag design and Moroccan sun interior bezels.
