Will this become the new Audi TT RS?

Audi unveils TT clubsport turbo concept at 2015 Wörthersee Tour festival

In-keeping with Wörthersee Tour festival tradition, Audi has unveiled a 592bhp version of its TT sports car, the TT clubsport turbo concept. As the name suggests, under the bonnet lies a twin-turbocharged 2.5-litre five-cylinder (as found in the RS3), which is mated to a 48-volt electrical system supplies energy to spin the twin turbos. Said combo – which includes lithium-ion batteries – produces a gutsy 479lb ft of torque, meaning a 0-100kph time of 3.6 seconds.

Boasting a more menacing look than the recently released third generation TT including blistered wheel arches to cool the new (slash enormous) brakes, a long front splitter, and an eye-catching rear-wing. Though just an engineering study at present, suggestions have been made that the concept’s design could form the look of the TT RS.
