Range Rover Sport SVR in Action

The new Range Rover Sportier takes to the track. Mostly sideways.

There’s a new Range Rover Sport, one that’s ever sportier than before. The Range Rover Sport SVR has 552bhp from its 5-litre V8, and 501lb ft, but there’s more than just power to the new model. The SVR suffix signifies a stiffer, more advanced chassis, honed balance and even more drivability.

Don’t take our word for it though – here’s Land Rover‘s chief engineer Mike Cross doing what he does best – sliding around a track at extreme angles.

The Range Rover Sport SVR has been honed at the Nürburgring and promises to take the fight to the likes of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S, BMW X5M and X6M. It looks to be a whole lot of fun, and we’d like to confirm that please Land Rover, OK? Call us.
