Jump on-board with Briton Peter Hickman as he takes victory on the Briggs BMW S 1000 RR at the 2015 Macau Grand Prix.
You may remember the Simon Pagenaud ‘from the helmet cam’ lap of the St Petersburg Indycar circuit we brought you earlier this year, a testament to precision, skill and speed. Oh, and massively hairy cajones, given how utterly terrifying the footage is to watch from the first perspective. So you can just imagine how we reacted to the below video of Peter Hickman taking the Briggs BMW S 1000 RR – at full pace – around the streets of Macau during the principality’s 2015 Grand Prix. To add a little additional drama, the Brit delivered the team its first road win.
We recommend you turn up your speakers – since the noise being produced by that four-cylinder is outstanding – and watch the footage through your fingers: you will not believe how close Peter gets to the crash barriers. #TeamBigBalls, indeed…
