Ian Cook, AKA Popbangcolour, paints cars with cars. Little radio controlled ones. We brought him to Dubai to paint some Fords at the Dubai Motor Show.
Meet Ian Cook. This paint-spattered, bespectacled Brit is an artist, who specialises in painting cars. But not with a brush. No, he uses cars as tools with which to paint – dozens of radio-controlled cars that he sends skittering over paper to create his masterpieces.
crankandpiston brought Ian to the Dubai Motor Show, in association with Ford, and he spend the duration of the show creating three paintings in front of fascinated visitors. Check out his thoughts on art, and see how he painted these awesome images of a Ford Mustang, Raptor and Focus ST using the power of radio control. And some paint, obviously.
