After Lewis Hamilton‘s success in this year’s Formula 1 World Championship, and his teammate Nico Rosberg‘s second place, their team Mercedes has decided to honour them – and us – with two new special edition cars.

Both Hamilton and Rosberg had a say in the design of the special edition SL63 AMGs, of which only 19 will be produced of each.

Hamilton‘s car is clad in matt black – or ‘designo night black magno’ if you want the proper name – while gold highlights adorn badges, trim elements and the stitching.

Rosberg‘s design is a touch less garish, with the car finished in ‘designo cashmere white magno’ and the highlights finished in grey. Both cars get chrome black tailpipes.

Each car is dedicated to one of the 19 races in this year’s F1 World Championship, indicated on a plate mounted inside. Mechanically, the cars are the same as the regular SL63 AMG, which means 5.5-litre biturbo V8 power to the tune of 577bhp.

If you want one of these special edition cars, they’ll cost €320,110 ($399,048) each, or Mercedes will sell you the pair for a bargain price of €629,510 ($784,744).

Hamilton and Rosberg showed off their machines at the Stars and Cars event in Germany following the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Check out the video below as they slightly awkwardly point out the highlights.
