As I dragged myself out of bed rather apprehensively this morning at 5am I wondered whether I was doing the right thing?! Today was the day I had been looking forward to all week; this was the day that I would get to go out and play in the Dubai desert on a KTM 450. After a short drive to the KTM Farm just outside Dubai at the crack of dawn I was faced with my hack for the day.

After being looked after and briefed by the guys at KTM I got dressed up in the obligatory “Made to make you feel BAD!” MotoX gear…donned my helmet and goggles and headed out to the desert.

I’ll come back to with a full feature in the very near future, however let’s just say that the savings are looking like they are about to take a hit in the form of a big bad ass orange bike.
