If you hadn’t noticed yet, we are BIG fans of Ford’s skunk works (SVT) Ford Raptor. A CORR/Baja truck for you and me and not just for the hardcore racer. From the videos and pics that are circultating around the web we already know that it can take a beating and keeps coming back for more. Jumps – it it’s stride, Baja 1000 race in pretty much stock road trim – Won! You get where we are coming from.

Now when Drift god and Ford wonder kid, Vaughn Gittin Jr. teamed up with the crew from Wrecked Magazine in the USA, to attack the sand dunes outside of Las Vegas and grab some air at the local CORR (Championship Off-Road Racing) track. That’s when things got really exciting.

Hit the jump to see the video for yourself.

  1. That looked like a fun time in the desert. I had no idea trucks could fly of so high or that they can be used for sand duning; I thought that was mainly done using SUV’s or ATV’s. Looks like fun though!
