Competitors – many of whom were taken under the wing of circuit instructors on the night – were given several hours to perfect their high-speed runs, handbrake turns, and throwing the car into quick succession left and right corners. Around 120 spectators were on-hand to witness the 15 competitors do their best to make their tyres beg for mercy, and looks like they won’t have to wait too much longer for the next round. The next practice event for Drift UAE (now run under the Emirates Motorsport Federation) is due to take place at the end of the month.
