[VIDEO] Here’s Europe’s FIRST BMW E92 M3 with a 650hp LT4 engine

Getting a bit more time on your hands than usual can result with different kinds of creations. In this case, a crazy good one.

From Birmingham, UK, at the Dyno Torque Garage who usually do many builds for Driftworks, Craig decided to go with an unusual engine swap, by putting an angry and sophisticated American heart in a German athlete.

The engine which was put in the BMW E92 M3 is the GM LT4, which is currently found in the current Cadillac CTS-V, Camaro ZL1 and the new Corvette Z06, which comes as a supercharged 6.2L V8, pushing 650hp and 650 lb-ft of torque as stock. In Craig’s case, an exhaust system and an aftermarket intake were installed so it probably pushes out slightly more than that now, and yet there’s a possibility to get a lot more by aftermarket camshafts, porting the intake, larger throttle body and smaller pulleys can ideally squeeze out more juice and climbing up to 740hp “easily”.

Check out the video above as Craig gives you more details on the build, and at the end of the video, you’ll get to see the M3 in action with some 1st gear pulls and powerslides.
