Well at long last we got there. Thanks to crankandpiston reader Carlos, we have managed to get a clear picture of what that weird car we have seen floating around Dubai is. Built by a guy called Mike Vetter in sunny Florida the car is called the EVT (Extra Terrestrial Vehicle).

Entirely custom made using a Chevy Aveo (oh dear) as the base car and then wrapped in the swoopy fibreglass bodywork you see in the pics.

So there you go, it’s not the Halo Interceptor – sadly – and you can now rest easy knowing what it is. We certainly feel better for it!
