Last year, for example, a 1957 250 Testa Rossa was sold at auction for…ready?…$16.4 million. And yes, that was a new world record.

And just in case a whopping great reserve price doesn’t impress you, you may be interested to know that the 250 TR also won the Le Mans 24hrs three times between 1958 and 1961.
