Feeling slightly voyeuristic, I found myself peeking through the curtains watching the pre-reveal run through from the big bosses at Land Rover. To the left is John Edwards, global brand director, pencil man Gerry McGovern in the middle and Nick Rogers, the genius heading up the engineering teams on the right.
During the time I was sneaking around back stage, I’d realised Diz had gone walk about. Thankfully a couple of minutes later, I found him, flat out on the floor.
With all the backstage stuff collected, it was time to head out front and see what was going on out on the street.
The first man we bumped into was Nick Dimbleby, top bloke, camera nerd and photographer of skill levels most try to achieve. Nick was on hand working for Land Rover to cover all activities during the Range Rover Sport launch along with all of the Jaguar sexiness that was going on.
Time to head down the block and get some sound bites and footage from the huge crew of guys on hand to capture Daniel Craig and the Range Rover Sport hacking through the streets of Midtown.
First up a super-cool dude that had spent the past 20 years of his life filming the Sesame Street. Not only was he a proper chap, he was rocking the coolest glasses I’d seen in years.
