UPDATED WITH OFFICIAL LAUNCH VIDEO. Ferrari unveils the new California T.[Not a valid template]
There’s not been a huge amount of cosmetic surgery, not that we’re complaining since Ferrari’s baby looks pretty gorgeous anyway. Dimensions haven’t changed either, the new model sitting snugly on the chassis used by the preceding California.
The main news piece though is the brand new Ferrari V8 turbo stuffed under the bonnet. At 3855cc, the twin-turbocharged V8 produces 560hp, whips the California T – formerly ‘Project 149 M’ – from 0-100kph in 3.6seconds and onto a top speed of 316kph. It’s been quite some time since we’ve seen a turbo Ferrari – and you’ll have to bear with us whilst we wistfully think about the F40 for a second – and with that comes a refreshed inventory including a Dual-clutch F1 gearbox, a Retractable Hard top, and a Carbon Ceramic Braking System.
Expect more details when the California T hits the Ferrari stand in Geneva.
