Drifting has been bubbling under the surface across the region for the better part of two years now and with the support of local drivers, clubs and more importantly the organisers, things seem to be going places. Drift UAE are one such bunch of like minded guys that are going full bore towards growing this form of entertainment in the region and with that, attracting local drivers to practice and enhance their skills in a safe controlled environment. We keep talking about the crazy high levels of drift skills in the region and thankfully with the guys like this and platforms such as Yas Marina, they are at last getting there chance to shine, away from the public highways.

Sadly we missed the first 3 rounds of their activities, however we caught up with the guys at Round 4 of Drift UAE, that was held within the confines of Yas marina Circuit on the evening of Friday 24thFeb.

20 Drifters participated in the event, showing off their growing drifting skills perfectly.  With guest drivers coming from KSA, Bahrain, Jordan and Lebanon, not to mention a surprise special guest from Ireland, in the form of Mr. Graham McNamara, CEO of Prodrift Series in Europe. Graham was on hand to judge the event as well as guide the drivers on how to improve their skills further.

We look forward to the next round.. and you never know, we may even get The Management Fleet drifter out to have a go ourselves.
