As the launch date for the 2013 Range Rover creeps ever closer, camouflaged prototypes are starting to venture onto the roads more and more. Mostly these have been consigned to the UK. Until now.

These two examples were recently spotted being put through their paces in Dubai as part of the model’s extreme weather testing program. Speculation is still rife concerning chassis modifications and powertrain though, and it looks like Range Rover won’t let these details slip through the door too soon before the model’s debut, which is rumoured to be at this year’s Paris Auto Show in September.

Our thanks to Jimmy Grewal for the clip.
