Why Porsche created Rennsport Reunion

If you’re a Porsche (porsh-a) fan, or not, you’ve probably heard of the Rennsport Reunion, held at the Mazda Laguna Seca raceway in California.

Well, Porsche has produced this video to explain exactly why it created it.

The film includes footage from past events, as well as interviews from infamous racing drivers such as Jochen Mass, Hans-Joachim Stuck and Richard Attwood, describing why this event is so great. Attwood says: “Race cars are meant to be on a track, you could leave them in a museum but I think they should be used and that’s exactly what this event is doing.”

The Rennsport Reunion has already taken place for this year, with the fifth installment being held last weekend (September 25-27).

The three-day event involves Porsche racecars, renowned drivers, and Porsche collector cars. It features on-track competitions, as well as giving vistors the opportunity to get up close and personal with their favourite models.
