TOP 10 motorsport backflips

8. Yannick Dalmas – Professional SportsCar Racing, 1998

During the 1998 Petit Le Mans race at Road Atlanta, French racer Yannick Dalmas, ex of Formula 1, was charging hard in his Porsche GT1 when the nose lifted coming over a rise. There followed a textbook backflip, landing in a fiery wheelie and a spectacular jettison of the bonnet to finish. Great execution, maximum style points, and Dalmas was uninjured. A fine example of how it’s supposed to be done.
