8. Hamilton fights back (2008)
It looked like the Monaco Grand Prix was all over for Lewis Hamilton when, in wet conditions, his McLaren hit the wall and suffered a puncture on lap six and crawled back to the pits. A safety car allowed him to close the gap on the leaders and fuel strategy let him to pit later and open a big lead as the weather improved. Despite another puncture late in the race, he crossed the line for his first Monaco win.
