8. The car we forgot: Audi R8 V10 Plus
[Not a valid template]Back in July, we were invited to try the ‘exceedingly fast’ Aventador SV LP750-4 on-track at Misano as part of Lamborghini’s Accademia driving course. It’s an intense experience, given that the SuperVeloce is a more performance-focused version of the already insane Aventador, our man savouring every power lap. Just one month later, Audi invites us to try the brand new R8 V10 Plus, the underpinning of which you’ll also find on the Lamborghini Huracán. It’s a brilliant sports car, superbly poised and powerful, and moves the game on admirably for Audi. Still, it ain’t no SuperVeloce.
