In the words of 0-60mag.com “Ken Block’s Gymkhana series has spawned more than its fair share of imitators, wanna-bes and impersonators. Now it’s drummed up an anti-Gymkhana response, too.”

A statement to which we couldn’t agree more with. Gone, is the beautifully honest and simple series of vids that really got people talking, replaced with a marketing machine, driven by a car you can’t even buy!

So after stumbling across the awesome Subaru WRC rep in Dubai it got us thinking… and thankfully 0-60 where seemingly on a similar wavelength as they had already posted this up.

So, welcome to one of, if not the most memorable rally cars of the WRC era – the Subaru Impreza WRC (97-2000). Caught in action thrashing it out on tarmac stages and driven by Prodrive´s factory team drivers Colin McRae (LEGEND – RIP!), Piero Liatti, Richard Burns (LEGEND – RIP!) and Juha Kankkunen as well as numerous privateers.
