Drag racing took place on the main Autodrome straight for those that live their life a quarter mile at a time. With some seriously tuned machinery lighting up the strip, the outcome on each head-to-head was far from certain.

Meanwhile, the paddock area was busy with the sound of cackles and bangs from the AutoX event. The level of driver’s skill involved in tackling the tight layout demonstrated just how much talent there is locally.

It was the drift action that was to be the crowd favourite though as the spectators gathered to watch Round 2 of the Drift UAE Championship. High-speed sideways thrills and spills action capping of a full day of petrol-head shenanigans.
