Thanks to one of our sources we are able to show you these spy shots of the new Aston Martin DB9 replacement the DB11.

It is thought that the car is in final tuning stages before it goes on sale later this year. The pictures show a much less camouflaged body to that of previous spy shots, showing more of the brand’s new language design.

The model is said to use Mercedes Benz electrical architecture including S-Class digital instruments and switchgear and, according to reports, Aston Martin has also signed an additional deal with Daimler meaning that the DB11 and 2018 Vantage will both get AMG engines. But, as we reported more recently, Aston Martin has recently announced a new 5.2-litre V12 Twin Turbo unit – so, time will tell.

There is talk of the model debuting at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, next month. So, watch this space.
