Turns out Spa-Francorchamps is the place to be if you’re hankering for some retro track-ready metal, as crankandpiston playmate Jonathan Szczupak was recently.

The array on offer throughout the weekend included (nearly) everything from BMW 1800 Tisas through to full-spec Group C Jaguars. But we’ve taken quite a shine to this Lotus 80, John Player Special livery and all.

Well, it’s so often said that the old ‘uns are the best ‘uns.
