Picture the scene if you will. You jump on a plane bound for Germany. Arrive on the thursday, make your way through the airport, pick up your bags and make your way through customs. You make a quick stop at your favourite rent a car company to pick up your typically boring eurobox. Pausing briefly you key in the address to Weissach and then head out onto the streets of Germany.

Arriving at the Factory, you are met by a lovely young German PR lady who throws you the keys to your 997 GT3RS to enjoy for the weekend. With a rye smile you jump in the seat and start the romp back to the Nurburgring…little does she know, you have entered the car into the Nurgurgring 24hrs…Crazy you might think? A near stock 911, in the 24Hrs? What chance would you think you would have?

24Hrs later, you cross the line 13th overall! Out of a starting grid of 220 vehicles…

Is it the perfect racing car? You tell me…
