Rd 3 of the Dubai Autodrome Sprint Championships took place last Thursday evening. After procrastinating with myself for a couple of hours as to whether I should make the effort to head down my wife decided to take control and tell me to get off my ass and head down to the track. I have to say I was super glad that I did pull my finger out as when I rocked up I saw one of my all time favourite Porsche’s poking it’s arse out of the back of the pit garage.

Now those that know me will already know that I am a Porsche guy through and through! Nothing get’s me excited more than a bad ass lightweight 911 and as you can see by the pictures Cabell Fisher’s GT3RS ticks those box’s.

So here is a post dedicated to this hardcore 997 GT3RS.

Launching hard during a practice run early on in the evening – I was quite lucky to grab this shot as I had to leg it to the start line from the pit garage!

Take one street legal and to most people, perfect 997 GT3RS…Rip out the carpets, remove anything that is not required and slam to the deck. The ultimate recipe for a cool Porsche.

Cabell getting strapped in for another run – as you can see I was more bothered with getting the shot than making sure he was safely belted up.

Absolutely on it – uncorked exhaust makes the already incredible flat 6 scream to levels you would not believe!
