We have been sat waiting for a video featuring a McLaren MP4-12C – the new supercar on the block – and Jebal Hafeet – one of the greatest single stretches of tarmac in the region – since the car first landed on Middle Eastern soil. To be honest, we had been a little surprised that non of the main stream media headed across the UAE to the flush Oasis town that is Al Ain, however sadly that was to be the case.

Thankfully though, this very generous owner has gone and done it for us and taken a rather sprightly KTM X-BOW along for ride. Sadly the quality isn’t the best, yet at least the driving quality is high and the chaps in the McLaren and KTM respectively know how to cut a nice line up the hill.
