For the second consecutive year, ‘Ballistic’ BJ Baldwin conquered the Baja 1000, heading Rob MacCachren and Troy Herbst for an all Las Vegas podium. But this is not what I’ll take away from my first Baja 1000.
For me the Baja 1000 is one of the most insane events on the motorsport calendar, thanks to the characters that both compete and work on these amazing machines. I wanted to get a feel for this amazing spectacle and give myself the challenge of shooting a discipline I’ve never tried before. I had little time to prepare, and as such few expectations, but I’m pretty proud of my efforts. Hopefully you will be too.
