There aren’t too many cars more iconic than the McLaren F1 GTR. As if the road-going F1 wasn’t special enough, the GTR was the racing version which famously claimed the overall win at the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Modofied from Gordon Murray’s original design, the F1 GTR was lightweight and powered by a 600bhp BMW V12. They were competitive from the off, and competed around the world until 2005.

For the 73rd Goodwood Members’ Meeting, held at the Goodwood Circuit in the UK, organisers managed to being together 16 McLaren F1 GTRs to get back on track together. What a great sight it was, and what a great sound too. This is one to crank the headphones up on.
