Seat has introduced the newest edition to its hot supermini range, the new Ibiza Cupra.

The new model gets a 189bhp, four-cylinder, 1.8-litre TSI engine, with acceleration from 0-100kph of 6.7 seconds, and a top speed of 235kph.

Coolant flow is regulated by two high-speed rotary valves integrated into a single module and driven by worm gear connected to an electric motor, which helps to bring the engine oil up to operating temperature as quickly as possible following a cold start.

17-inch alloy wheels are featured as standard, alongside newly tuned suspension. A brand new feature, which comes as standard, is the CUPRA Drive Profile, which allows the driver to adapt the car’s steering and suspension at the touch of a button.

Exterior features include LED daytime running lights and rear lights are also included, high-gloss black door mirrors, with a matt-back diffuser to the rear and trapezoidal tailpipe.

Inside sees Seat’s Full Link technology and ConnectApp for smartphone connectivity, Cupra front sports seats, leather steering wheel and aluminum-look pedals. Alcantara upholstery is available as an option.
