Koenigsegg One:1 to land at Goodwood

Koenigsegg One:1 ‘megacar’ to hit 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed

[Not a valid template]

The wait is over. Sort of.

Petrolheads the world over have been gnashing their teeth together with anticipation concerning the Koenigsegg One:1 and its latest appearance. Having made its global bow at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, the One:1 ‘megacar’ – the first homologated production car anyway to boast perfect power-to-weight ratio – is now set to take on the Michelin Supercar Run at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Whether or not either newboy – since Koenigsegg is bringing two – will demonstrate the fabled 440+kph top speed on the hill is debatable (slash unlikely), but the announcement is certainly a strong start to the manufacturer’s 20th anniversary.

And yes, those ‘official’ press images have come from Jalopnik
