Jeep unveils special edition Renegade

Jeep has launched a special edition Renegade to celebrate the launch of the new Batman vs Superman movie.

A new limited edition version of the Jeep Renegade small SUV is being launched.

500 examples of the model will be produced and will be powered by a choice of either the 1.6-litre E-torQ 110bhp petrol, or a 1.6-litre MultiJet II 120bhp diesel engine, both of which are mated to a manual transmission.

The special edition has been developed to celebrate the release of the new Batman vs Superman Dawn of Justice movie and is based on the Longitude mid-range trim level.

Identifying the model is Granite Crystal, Carbon Black or Colorado Red livery and a host of polished black painted accents, such as unique 18-inch alloy wheels, fog lamp and rear light cluster surrounds, black roof bars, the seven-slot grille, and unique Dawn of Justice badging.

Inside is a leather steering wheel, exclusive Dawn of Justice black cloth seats, black air vent and speaker bezels, DAB digital radio with Bluetooth and satnav, a six-speaker audio system, and UConnect Live services.

A limited number of options are also available, including tinted privacy glass, electric panoramic sunroof, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, towing pack, and regular size spare wheel.

Prices start from $27,443.
