Lotus are putting their balls on the line. With a what could be described as a monumental raft of new models in the pipeline and not to mention a raft that is out in the public domain, it leaves them a little exposed with the line up that has to take them to 2015 when the new cars will be out on the street. Enter Mansory!
Most obviously effected by this model line shake up is the relatively fresh Evora. We had heard early reports suggesting that Lotus was working on a full design change to make sure it shared the face brought in by the more aggressive new design language across the other models.
However for Geneva, Lotus have gone in another direction. Commissioned by the factory, Mansory’s take on the Evora is meant to demonstrate what’s possible in the aftermarket. It looks kitted-out with enough carbon to make an F1 car jealous, but we’ll reserve final judgment until we see it for ourselves.
