Sounds – just sounds from Porsche at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Yesterday we brought you the sights and sounds of Formula 1 from the 1990s, courtesy of the Williams F1 Team and Damon Hill’s ’96 championship winning FW18. Now it’s time to do the same with Porsche.
There’ no pre-amble to this video from the Goodwood Festival of Speed. No basey voiceover explaining away ‘the passion’, ‘the dedication’ or the ‘one of a kind’ elements indicative of these machines. All we get is sound, pure sound resonating from the LMP2 RS Spyder, the ‘87 Le Mans-winning 962C (as driven by Derek Bell, Hans-Joachim Stuck and Al Holbert), and the iconic Gulf Racing 917K among others.
Once we’ve worked out how to make this our new ringtone, we’ll let you know.
