Jaguar reveals the XFR-S Sportbrake, its first performance sports estate.

The XFR-S Sportbrake is the first high-performance R-S branded sports estate car by Jaguar and combines over 540bhp with 1675-litres of rear load space. That’s a pretty potent mix of performance and practicality that adds up to being able to haul your family and a wagon load of stuff from 0-100kph in 4.8 seconds and on to an electronically limited top speed of 300kph.
Having a five-litre supercharged V8 with 680Nm of torque in an estate has necessitated a retune of the XFR-S Saloon’s chassis and the XFR-S Sportbrake has also undergone some aerodynamic changes to reduce lift compared to the standard Sportbrake. We think it looks pretty good on the 20-inch ‘Varuna’ forged alloy wheels but we have already started playing with possibilities…
