Inside Koenigsegg. Preparing the One:1. DRIVE

Christian von Koenigsegg oversees the final preparation of the first Koenigsegg One:1 Megacar ahead of The Geneva Motor Show.

Koenigsegg

It is a difficult thing to not be impressed by Christian von Koenigsegg. His Swedish brain has innovated everything from wooden click flooring to triplex suspension and he is also working on free valve technology which may make the camshaft redundant. We’ve liked pretty much everything that’s been going on inside his hard working cranium since 1994 when Koenigsegg Automotive was born and he focused his grey matter on important stuff. Like going really really fast.

The latest Koenigsegg creation is the Koenigsegg One:1 which is claimed to be the world’s first megacar. Want to know what goes in to making a regular (cough) Agera R into a one megawatt car? Christian von Koenigsegg explains during the final preparation of the first Koenigsegg One:1 Megacar ahead of The Geneva Motor Show.
