Honda to produce all-electric sports car

According to reports, Honda is planning on bringing an all-electric sports car to the global market.

The model is based on the technology used in the Pikes Peak CR-Z racer, including its four-wheel steering system.

The Japanese manufacturer has already produced a road-going prototype of the car, which is powered by a 16kwh lithium-ion battery. It also has one individual electric motor on every corner, meaning that the system can vector torque right to left and front to back.

Power output it said to be 250bhp, with a 0-100kph of 3.5seconds and a top speed of 209kph.
