It’s been a while since the new generation of consoles – Sony’s Playstation 4 and Microsoft’s Xbox One – was released. And as car freaks, racing games have been a big factor in getting us to decide which console to get.

The biggest racing simulator Gran Turismo (PS exclusive) still hasn’t reached the new gen of consoles, but on the other hand, its head-to-head competitor Forza (Xbox exclusive) released Forza 5 at the end of 2013. Now, Forza Horizon 2 is due to hit the shelves this September, with kickass graphics and brutal sounds the likes of which we’ve never seen or heard before.

With many racing styles, from supercars to rally and drifting, they’re all showcased in the new Forza Horizon 2 gameplay trailer video. Favorite parts include a Lamborghini Huracán doing a kickass donut around the McLaren P1 (at the 1m 13s mark), and highly detailed carbon fibre texture on the Nissan GT-R (45s). Be sure to let us know your personal ‘oh my God!’s in the comments box below.
