The tarmac down at the Dubai Autodrome might be quiet at the moment with the ambient temperature hovering around the mid 40s mark. However, just six months ago it was a hive of activity as the 5th annual Dubai 24hrs race took place. 80 teams from 36 countries driving everything from GT3-spec Ferrari F430s to diesel BMW 1-series’ and plenty much in between pounded the full 5.39km GP circuit for 24hours straight.There were thrills and spills aplenty throughout the gruelling endurance race which kicked off at 2pm on Friday 15th of January.In addition to a strong international contingent, there were eight teams from the Middle East spread across the field.
