BMW has partnered with men’s lifestyle publication Mr Porter to design and produce a one-of-a-kind BMW i3, of interest for those of you who still dress for dinner. The limited-edition exterior features a tuxedo blue colour with white accents running the length of the chassis, each of which has been handpainted. A Mr Porter Essentials Travel Kit is also included which includes a BMW i leather holdall, plus four items exclusive to Mr Porter: a black and white London undercover umbrella, a special edition Leica camera, Cutler & Gross sunglasses, and a Phaidon City Guide Book. Oh, and a Lock & Co bowler hat.

Mechanically though, the BMW i3 – little brother to the BMW i8 sports car – remains unchanged. Running on electric power and therefore emission-free, the 637cc two-cylinder generator produces 170bhp, with peak torque of 184lb ft, allowing the model to sprint from 0-100kph in 7.2 seconds. The lithium-ion battery gives a range of 130–160km, rising by 15% in ECO PRO mode and by the same again in ECO PRO+ mode.

For those of you looking for a touch of class whilst you’re busy saving the world, prices for the ‘Mr Porter’ BMW i3 start from $62,127.
