A conversation arose during a Gran Turismo evening the other night, one which the majority of you will no doubt have had before. Since each of the team was on fire, and the crankandpiston lap times were nothing short of heroic, we naturally assumed as we basked in our respective glories and accepted our virtual trophies that the real thing wouldn’t be any more difficult: a theory we bravely decided not to put to the test.
2011 GT Academy winner Jann Mardenborough had other ideas though, even taking it a stage further. Having already made the successful change across from virtual to reality, Jann recently walked us through the differences between road-going and race spec Nissan GTRs at Silverstone, UK.
Oh, and for the eagle-eyed amongst you, check out the crankandpiston footage making various appearances (hint: 51s, 1m 25s, and see if you can spot the rest).
