The Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is a potent beast right out of the box. With 580hp it’ll make mincemeat of a Camaro SS with little effort. But for some, that ain’t enough. And by some, we mean John Hennessey and his customers.

John is the man behind Hennessey Performance, which prides itself on getting ludicrous power out of a range of cars, particularly American machines. The guys from Tuned, over at the Drive channel, headed down to Sealey, Texas, USA to visit Hennessey and try out a 700hp version of the ZL1. And while they were there, they put it up in a drag race against another Hennessey creation – a 700hp Cadillac CTS-V wagon. Well, why not?
